Let me tell you mine.
Hey, it's me, Lexi. I'm a wife, mom to 3 (one of my babies rests with Jesus), and a self-taught photographer. I have over 14 years of experience and education, and 8 years in the professional industry.
I'm often described as down-to-earth, honest, and love hearing about all that makes your heart full. Part of my joy in capturing your most precious moments is being able to have the incredible opportunity to do so!
My photography journey started much like everyone else...
A teenager with a cheap camera, a drive to be ever-learning, and a passion for photographing the people God put on this earth.
The difference lies in the amount of desperate love I have for supplying my clients with their own history, forever sealed by a photographed moment.
In December of 2021, my second child passed away from a rare disease, Idiopathic Pulmonary Hypertension.
In the 2 short months Jesus blessed us with our little Henry, I did not get any family photos of us. 2000+ iPhone pictures, but not a single photo of all of us together.
I was often the one taking the photos, so I only have but a handful of pictures of me cuddling my precious baby. Not one family photo of us. Not one photo I didn't have to take.
Your senior photo experience is more than a grad card.
Your wedding album is more than a Facebook post.
It is a method to preserving your own history.
I am documenting your growth, your someday-history, your trials, triumphs, peace, and turmoil.
I might not know your full story. Heck, you don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to. But you will see it in your photos. You will see how far you've come. You will notice what was aching your heart, or you will relive how peaceful that moment in your life was.
The power of photography, and the responsibility to document such heavy aspects of people's lives, gives me a drive to go above and beyond at every session.
